America’s first Yoga Influencer, Lilias Folan

In March, we lost a pillar of the Yoga community.

Lilias Folan was a beacon of light, guiding the way of Yoga in the West.

She had many firsts in the infancy of yoga. All who practice and derive benefits from Yoga practice stand on her shoulders. She encouraged everyone she touched to share in the joy that flowed through her heart.

Even though I have lost a friend, her smile and friendliness will linger in my heart.
